The Dog Cottage is a luxury boutique dog hotel specialising in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Located in Pimpama on the northern Gold Coast, The Dog Cottage was founded in 2021 to provide Cavaliers with the ultimate holiday destination.

Choosing us to care for your dog means you can rest assured that your precious pooch is enjoying the ultimate dog holiday. We treat our furry guests like we do our dogs - as though they are royalty, because let’s be honest, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels think that they are just that. This is their world after all and us humans exist to serve them.

We limit the number of dogs in our care to ensure they all receive the attention and love that they deserve.

Furry guests dine on the absolute best cuisine available, they enjoy an exciting daily agenda featuring treat hunts in our sensory garden, forest walks, running free in a private dog park and playing brain enriching games. Day naps are taken on super soft white faux furs that cover a massive sofa. They enjoy daily grooming, massages, cuddles and so much love. At night they sleep in a King sized bed with 1000 thread count sheets.

Meet our CEO

Meet our Chief Executive Officer - Charlie Frank! Charlie Frank is a 4 and a half year old Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

If our CEO isn’t sleeping on the job he can be found executing quality control and taste testing treats in the pantry.

Dedicated to his job, Charlie Frank personally partakes in every treat hunt and every enrichment game to ensure the quality is of the highest calibre for our guests. At the dog park he takes it upon himself to test the mud puddles to ensure they’re of the right consistency for maximum enjoyment. What a guy!

A born leader, Charlie Frank is an exceptional delegator. He is not fond of any form of work that he doesn’t deem fun, so he expertly delegates it to his Personal Assistant (AKA his human Mum).

Charlie Frank is quite possibly the most adorable Chief Executive that has ever lived.
